Vermont has endured “notable and disastrous” streak flooding, its senator has said, after up to two months of rain fell in two days.

More than 100 salvages have been conducted by crisis groups in pontoons within the Unused Britain state since the downpour started on Sunday.

President Joe Biden announced a state of emergency on Monday within the state.
