Bryan Randall, Sandra Bullock’s partner, Bryan Randall dies at 57 years. Randall died on August 5 after a three-year battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Bryan Randall’s family told the media on Monday, “Bryan made the decision early on to keep his journey with ALS a secret, and we as his caregivers did our best to honor his request.”

“We are so grateful to the tireless doctors who are fighting this disease with us, and to the wonderful nurses who are often our friends who keep their families together.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, ALS is “a neurological disease that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord.” The disease causes “loss of muscle control” that “progresses over time.”

The Oscar-winning actor met the man who turned model-to-photographer when he was hired to photograph her son Louise’s birthday in 2015.
