Ukrainian air defense said on Thursday that Ukraine’s air defense had shot down a large number of weapons fired by Russia, including rockets and 20 Iranian-made drones.
Air Force, in a statement from Telegram, said that the majority of the attack drones created by the Russian army were destroyed in the Kiev region. Russia also launched two submarines from the Black Sea and missiles from the Crimea.
Earlier on Thursday, Ukrainian officials said Kiev’s air defenses intercepted a Russian drone, killing one and injuring two in a cloud wind attack on the capital for the third consecutive night.
Announcement added: “Air Defense units of anti-aircraft missile units, combat aircraft, mobile firing units of the Air Force and other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are involved in the work to attack enemy attacks.”
