Jamie Foxx-The actor addressed the public for the first time since April, when he was hospitalized with an undisclosed illness.
The award-winning actor and musician posted an Instagram video update for fans on Friday night.
In the video, Fox said there were many theories as to what led to his hospitalization, but he did not detail what happened.
“I know a lot of people have been waiting or wanting to hear the news, but honestly, I don’t want you to see me like that, man,” she said. “I want you to see me laughing, having fun, partying, telling jokes, making movies, making TV shows.
I don’t want you to see me with a tube in my body and trying to figure out if I can pass.
Fox thanked his daughter and sister for saving his life.
“I can leave you this video for them, for God’s sake, for many good doctors.”
Foxx was seen in Chicago last week while receiving treatment at a hospital that specializes in treating people with physical, mental, or spinal cord injuries.
Fox later clarified the rumor on social media.
“As you can see, the eyes are working and working very well. I’m not paralyzed, but I’ve been through hell and I’m healed and healed. But I’m back, I can work.”
The video was released hours after Fox posted a photo of him sitting on a golden hat.
