 Beijing issued a red flood warning Wednesday, with water levels in major rivers dropping below the warning line. The red alert began at 11 am on Monday and was lifted at 9 am. Wednesday morning, according to the Beijing Hydrological Station.

The China capital city has been rain by Typhoon Doxuri since last week, and 11 people have died since Tuesday morning, Xinhua reported.

Beijing’s water department has issued a risk alert, asking the public to avoid bodies of water during the recovery period as prolonged irrigation voluntarily weakens swimming pools.
