Nike told FashionUnited that the sportswear company is working with FIFA and other organizations to complete the collection and equipment for the player. The company said the launch of the shirts is dependent on several factors, including demand in some markets.
Ears meanwhile has a wide selection of Manchester United jerseys and was one of the top selling jerseys on the club’s online store last season, the bulging guard said. However, United’s current supplier Adidas, which supplies the ten women’s teams participating in the World Cup, also does not provide equipment for international players.
Oliver BrĂŒggen, Head of Communications for Adidas Central Europe, said: “We are delighted that we have prepared the widest selection of shirts for the Women’s World, and that we were able to offer 15 times more products to the ten participating clubs than the previous competition.
